COSMO graduates and parents gathered to celebrate their achievements for all the years of hard work and dedication. The event was held at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall at The Empire Hotel Brunei on Saturday, 24th June 2023. The Guest of Honor was Chief Executive Ir Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar, the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI). He highlighted during his speech that, “In today’s rapidly changing world, graduates need to remain vigilant and understand the importance of continuously enhancing their knowledge and skills to ensure employability by utilizing creativity, adapting positive thinking and possessing skills and abilities valued by employers”.
This was indeed a strong and valuable insight for the graduates as they celebrated the special occasion. “Today is a very special day, reflecting on my journey and looking at the challenges I have faced and one of them was because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, our facilitators provided alternative ways of learning. This have equipped us embraced new technologies and trends that are also vital in any business industry these days” Loqmanulha’adi mentioned.
Ms Nadirah binti Jambol, Principal of Cosmopolitan College shared her heartfelt sentiments. “Alhamdulillah, I’m happy for all the graduates, and of course, the parents!” she expressed with a smile. Ms Nadirah also mentioned, “Never give up, it doesn’t matter where your path will be going onwards, whether you want to further your studies or step into a new work environment. The key is to keep moving forward with determination and a positive mindset.”
