Berakas – The Ministry of Education through the Department of Scholarship Management is pleased to announce that applications for the Technical and Vocational Education Scholarship Scheme (BPTV) for the academic year 2024/2025 specifically for eligible ‘O’ level school leavers to pursue higher education at local private higher institutions will commence on Wednesday, 26 February 2025 at 8:30 am and will be closed on Thursday, 10 April 2025 at 4.00 pm.

The BPTV scheme is offered by the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam which envisaged to fulfil the increasing demand for technical and vocational education in the country.

This scheme provides opportunities for ‘O’ level school leavers to continue their studies at a higher level and with the aim of realising Brunei Vision 2035 in producing educated and highly skilled citizens. 

The public, especially ‘O’ level school leavers who meet the set requirements, are welcomed to apply for the BPTV Scholarship Scheme.

Surat Pemberitahuan with reference 4/2025 and the BPTV Scheme (BPTV/A) application form can be obtained from the Ministry of Education website: www.moe.gov.bn. The completed forms and all required documents must be submitted through the procedures set by the Department of Scholarship Management, Ministry of Education no later than Thursday, 10 April 2025 at 4.00 pm.
