On Sunday, 18th May 2025, COSMOPOLITAN College’s Arts and Culture Club joined a vibrant cultural showcase at Peliunan Park, celebrating the rich heritage of Brunei and fostering appreciation among visitors, including staff from Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP).
The event opened with a warm Welcoming Dance (Adai-Adai), setting the tone for a morning filled with cultural exploration and unity. Guests were then guided through a scenic tour of Peliunan Park, where they had the unique opportunity to observe traditional handicraft demonstrations by local villagers — a testament to the craftsmanship and legacy preserved through generations.

One of the highlights of the day was the Traditional Kedayan Dance performance, where attendees were not only spectators but also invited to learn and join in the dance, experiencing firsthand the rhythm and movements deeply rooted in Bruneian identity. The event concluded with a beautiful ending traditional dance, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of cultural pride and community spirit.
A heartfelt thank you to the Arts and Culture Club for their outstanding dedication and effort in delivering such an engaging and educational cultural experience. Your performance not only entertained but also enlightened, showcasing the beauty of our local traditions to our esteemed BSP guests.
