Ordinary Level
Progress through an accredited Foundation Programme in Science before Year 1.
Year 1
Advanced Level
Entry with a minimum of 3 S passes at Local, Cambridge or Edexcel A Levels.
Direct Year 2
HND
A Higher National Diploma may support direct Year 2 entry, subject to SIST academic requirements and transcript review.

Advanced Diploma in Applied Microbiology & Biotechnology
240 Credits on Completion
Moves into advanced and applied areas of microbiology and biotechnology, including agricultural biotechnology, medical biotechnology, immunology, biochemistry and genetics.
For successful Year 1 learners or approved direct-entry applicants.
More applied, practical and research-oriented study.
Can support progression to degree-level study.
